VELAMP's bollards, fences, gates and signs are a classic and elegant solution in connection with the restoration of older buildings or new constructions, where you want a durable and stylish look.
Cast iron is a very durable product. In many castles, manor houses and cemeteries, cast-iron fences were previously used as status symbols. The fences and grilles were decorated with a wealth of ornaments, city coats of arms and coats of arms. However, the best quality doors did not come up until the 1950s and 60s, when the ductile iron had been invented. This type of iron has a much higher tensile strength and is therefore significantly more useful for gates and gates, which are sometimes heavily stressed by weather and wind. Today, there are not many original bollards, fences and gates left from the old days. Throughout the 19th century, many of these were removed, although there are still many fences and grids in cemeteries, manor houses and castles that have survived industrialization.

We are a 100% Danish-owned and Danish-producing supplier, and we are proud of that.
Our experience goes all the way back to 1944, when the foundry was founded in Vejen (Vejen Lamps = VeLamp).
At that time, there were three foundries in Vejen alone, but our continued existence is proof that quality lives on.
We have great expertise and knowledge about cast iron and how the process should run from start to finish. This gives our customers the greatest assurance of the quality of the products we produce, where we provide a surface warranty of 30 years.
Our own iron foundry is still located in Vejen, where we cast, forge (check) and paint. With our more than 80 years of experience with cast products for urban and landscape environments, our competent consultants can provide you with inspiration and guidance for both renovation and development tasks.
