Classic cast iron lamps from VELAMP

At VELAMP, we sell classic outdoor lamps in cast iron. We have great respect for old Danish cast iron design and craftsmanship. Therefore, our classic outdoor lamps have the same look as the original cast iron lamps back in 1857, when the streets of Copenhagen went from crane lamps to gas lamps. Today, the light source in the cast iron lamps has been replaced with LED, which is an economically sustainable bulb.

Classic cast iron products

Aesthetics and quality are the key values for VELAMP's classic cast iron lamps, beautiful cast iron benches, unique cast iron windows and light box grates.
We are the only 100% Danish-owned and Danish-producing supplier in Denmark, and we are proud of that.
Our experience goes all the way back to 1944, when the foundry was founded in Vejen (Vejen Lamps = VeLamp).
At that time, there were three foundries in Vejen alone, but our continued existence is proof that quality lives on.

We have great expertise and knowledge about cast iron and how the process should run from start to finish. This gives our customers the greatest assurance of the quality of the products we produce, where we provide a surface warranty of 30 years.

Our own iron foundry is still located in Vejen, where we cast and paint. With more than 70 years of experience with cast products for urban and landscape environments, our competent consultants can provide you with inspiration and guidance for both renovation and development tasks.

VELAMP is a subsidiary of ULDALL's Iron Foundry and is part of the BIRN Group, which is one of Northern Europe's largest iron foundry groups.
