Velamp A/S (hereafter VELAMP") was founded in 1944 and is today a specialist in classic cast iron benches and cast iron lamps. We vouch for the quality and durability, which is why we offer a surface warranty of 30 years. You can read more about VELAMP on the website www.velamp.dk (hereinafter "the Website").

When you move around our Website, communicate with us and/or enter into an agreement with us, etc., VELAMP collects information about you as a person. In this personal data policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Data Policy") you can read about the information we collect, what rights you have, how we process the information, and how you can contact us if you have any questions about our personal data processing."

All personal data processed by VELAMP is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data) and the related Danish Data Protection Act (Act on supplementary provisions to the Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data information).

3. Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data

VELAMP only collects the personal data that is necessary for VELAMP to provide the best possible service to you, and we only use your personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Communication with VELAMP

3.2.1
If you choose to contact us in person or by e-mail, we collect your name, your e-mail address, possibly your job title, your telephone number, company name and address as well as other personal data that you provide in your e-mail or message to us, including, for example, your purchase history.

3.2.2
If you choose to contact us using the contact forms on the website, we collect your e-mail address and other personal data that you provide in the free text field of the contact form.

3.2.3
The collection of this personal data is based on a legitimate interest in being able to provide you and your company with the best and most appropriate service, including to be able to respond to your questions and comments. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation. f.

We store your personal data for up to 3 years after your last contact with us.

Entering into a customer agreement

3.3.1
In order to be able to enter into an agreement with customers, suppliers and business partners that you represent or act on behalf of, we will in many cases collect your name, your e-mail address, phone number, role, job title, company name, address and customer number. In addition, we also collect information about orders, including payment transaction information, order status, shipping information, which may be linked to your contact information.

3.3.2
The collection and use of this personal data is based on our legitimate interest in being able to communicate with customers, suppliers and business partners that you represent or act on behalf of. This is done on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

3.3.3
We store your personal data for up to 3 years after the agreement with the customer, supplier and business partner has ended.

3.4
Guest registration

3.4.1
If you visit VELAMP as a guest, we process personal data about you. We collect your name, company name and possibly your phone number for use in registration at our reception when you arrive at VELAMP.

3.4.2
The collection of this data is based on our legitimate interest in being able to control who is on our property for security reasons. This is done on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

3.4.3
We store information related to guest registration for up to 1 month after your visit.

3.5
Customer satisfaction surveys

3.5.1
In order to improve our products and services so that we can offer you the best possible experience when you are in contact with us, we collect personal data about you that you provide to us in connection with your completion of customer satisfaction surveys. We collect your name, job title, email address, phone number, customer segment information, and the answers you provide to us in the satisfaction survey.

3.5.2
The collection and processing of the mentioned data is based on a legitimate interest in being able to improve our service and experience of VELAMP, cf. Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

3.5.3
We store this data for 1 year from the time of collection, after which it is anonymized, so that we will no longer be able to identify you based on the answers. The anonymized responses are used to follow up on our development in terms of improving products and service.

3.6
Collection of data through the use of cookies

3.6.1
When you use our Website, we collect and process a number of information about you in connection with our use of cookies for statistical purposes, including to optimise our website based on geolocation.

3.6.2
The following general personal data about you is processed: which pages you have visited, geographical location and information about your browser as well as which search terms you use.

3.6.3
Your IP address is anonymised so that the information in itself does not constitute information that can identify you. However, it cannot be denied that the information mentioned in section 3.6.2 may result in us being able to identify you, and it is therefore a matter of processing personal data.

3.6.4
The legal basis is VELAMP's legitimate interest in generating statistics and thereby analysing the use of our website, e.g. in order to optimise it, cf. Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

4. Use of data processors

4.1
VELAMP uses external companies to carry out the technical operation of the website and other assistance in connection with the above-mentioned processing activities. These companies are under our instructions and process data for which we are the data controller. The data processors may not use the data for any purpose other than the fulfilment of the agreement with us.

 


5. Your rights

5.1
As a registered user of VELAMP, you have a number of rights under the applicable personal data legislation, cf. section 2 above. VELAMP has described your rights below in cases where ULDALL processes personal data about you.

5.2
You can submit a request for the exercise of one of your rights using the contact details provided in section 2. When submitting your request, you must provide your full name and email address.

5.3
Once VELAMP has received your request, VELAMP will examine whether VELAMP can identify you as a user, whether it is you who has made the request, as well as whether the conditions for the right are met. If so, VELAMP will ensure that the right is fulfilled.

5.4
As a general rule, you can use your rights free of charge at any time. However, if you request extra copies of information, VELAMP may charge a fee for this. For requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may also either charge a fee for providing information or refuse to comply with the request. The exercise of your rights must also not infringe on the rights and freedoms of others, and VELAMP may therefore refuse to fulfil your rights in whole or in part if this is the case.

Insight and correction in relation to personal data

5.5.1
As a registered user of VELAMP, you always have the right to insight into what personal data is registered about you. By contacting VELAMP in writing, you can obtain information about what personal data VELAMP as data controller processes about you, what purpose the processing is and who receives the data, as well as a number of other information.

5.5.2
If you discover that the personal data you have provided to VELAMP is incorrect or misleading, you must contact VELAMP about this, after which VELAMP will correct this data.

5.6
Right to erasure

5.6.1
You have the right to have your personal data deleted by us without undue delay if VELAMP no longer has a purpose for processing your personal data, or you object to the processing of your personal data that takes place for the purpose of direct marketing or that takes place pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the Danish Data Protection Act. If VELAMP can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for continued processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim, VELAMP is not obliged to delete your personal data.

5.7
Right to restriction of processing

5.7.1
You have the right to obtain restriction of VELAMP's processing of your personal data, e.g. if you contest the accuracy of your personal data, or you have objected to the processing of your personal data that is based on legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the Danish Data Protection Act. VELAMP will in such case only store your personal data,  until your objection has been processed. If VELAMP lifts the restriction on VELAMP's processing of your personal data, you will be informed of this in advance.

Right to data portability

5.8.1
You have the right to have the data that you have provided to VELAMP transferred in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where the processing is based on an agreement pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation or your consent, cf. Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Right to object

5.9.1
You always have the right to object to VELAMP's processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation, if the processing is based on legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the Danish Data Protection Act.

5.9.2
If you object to the processing, VELAMP is no longer entitled to process your personal data, unless VELAMP can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for continued processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim.

5.9.3
You also always have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if the processing is for the purpose of direct marketing. If you object to such processing, VELAMP may no longer process your personal data for this purpose.

Right to complain

5.10.1
If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data, the exercise of your rights or wish to complain about VELAMP's processing of your personal data, you are welcome to contact VELAMP using the contact details in section 2. 6. Deletion of personal data

6.1
VELAMP will store your personal data in accordance with the specific deletion deadlines described for each processing activity described above in section 3.

6.2
For accounting and tax purposes, VELAMP stores certain personal data for a period of up to 5 years from the deletion of your personal data. In such a situation, your personal data will not be used for any other purpose. You can request that VELAMP delete your personal data at any time

 

7. Changes to the Personal Data Policy

7.1
VELAMP continuously updates and changes the Personal Data Policy so that it is continuously adapted to legislation and technological developments. If VELAMP makes changes to the Personal Data Policy, you will be informed of this on your next use of the website and by e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided to VELAMP.

VELAMP may change the Personal Data Policy at any time and without notice. The latest version is always available on the website.
